• Networking Lunch – January 13, 2009 at 11:30 AM

Our next STC networking luncheon for the North Side of Houston will be on Wednesday, January 13 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Location: Fuddrucker’s at 7511 FM 1960 (on the north-bound feeder road by the Willowbrook Mall). We will sit in the back section of the restaurant. You don’t have to be an STC member to attend. If you plan to attend, please let us know so that we can get a large enough table. Email your RSVP to pastpres@stc-houston.org. I look forward to seeing you there.

Mark your calendar for the first STC-Houston program meeting for 2009 at 5:30 p.m. this Tuesday, January 13th at the Holiday Inn Select (located just off the Southwest Freeway.)

Not only are we presenting an excellent topic presented by Ann Jennings, Ph.D. on modern ethics and how they affect technical writing, but we will also announce the winner of a copy of the Chicago Manual of Style from our membership renewal contest. Annual Awards Banquet in February – Watch for the Date!

This February, we will host the Annual Awards Banquet, an evening social and banquet, which will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott at 1885 St. James Place, 77056. The date will be announced soon and will be listed in the February newsletter. Networking starts at 5:30 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM.
