ERM Data Standards and Best Practices Review
Mar 8, 2010
3-4 pm (Eastern)

This month’s National Information Standards Organization (NISO) call will discuss the ERM Data Standards and Best Practices Review project to conduct a “gap analysis” regarding electronic resource management (ERM) related data, standards, and best practices.

The analysis includes a review of the ERMI data dictionary as it presently exists, and a mapping of ERMI data elements to those within relevant standards-related projects.

Hear from guest speaker Tim Jewell (Director, Information Resources and Scholarly Communication University of Washington), co-chair of the Working Group about the group’s progress to date and how their analysis will determine future work in the ERM standards arena.
